West Bengal cash transfer scheme paying eligible women Rs 3,000 a month (Rs 36,000 a year) by direct benefit transfer into the beneficiary's own Aadhaar-linked bank account, with rollout beginning 1 June 2026. Administered through socialsecurity.wb.gov.in with household data collected via the state social registry at socialregistry.wb.gov.in. The transfer is unconditional and untied, with no requirement to spend it on a specified purpose. SOURCING the scheme's existence and its Rs 3,000 monthly value are traceable to a government broadcaster; the reported age band of 25 to 60, the automatic migration of existing Lakshmir Bhandar beneficiaries and total coverage figures appear on secondary sites without a traceable government order and are presented as reported rather than confirmed.

WB Free Bus Travel for Women 2026: No Application Needed

Free bus travel for all women residents of West Bengal on state-run buses, operational since 1 June 2026, with no application process, no means test and no age condition. Intended to remove transport cost as a constraint on women's participation in work and education, support independent mobility, and encourage use of formal public transport. Smart cards with QR codes keyed to Aadhaar or voter EPIC are being issued progressively, but entitlement does not depend on holding one: until the card system is fully operational, any government photo identity document suffices and the conductor issues a Zero Value Ticket.

PM Rozgar Mela 2026: 12 Lakh Letters, No Application

Central government recruitment drive launched on 22 October 2022 with a stated target of appointing 10 lakh personnel in mission mode, under which ministries and departments fill existing sanctioned vacancies on an accelerated timeline and the Prime Minister distributes appointment letters to batches of new appointees via video conferencing. About 12 lakh appointment letters have been distributed across editions to date, passing the original target. Rozgar Mela has no public application process. Recipients are selected beforehand through SSC, UPSC, RRB, IBPS and departmental recruitment examinations.

PM eBus Sewa 2026: Cities, Buses on Road, How It Works

Central scheme launched on 16 August 2023 to deploy 10,000 electric buses in city bus services under a public private partnership model, with a total estimated cost of Rs 57,613 crore including Rs 20,000 crore of central assistance.
