Objective

The Mukhyamantri Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana (Respect for Mothers and Daughters) provides monthly direct financial assistance to eligible women across all 117 constituencies of Punjab. The AAP government allocated ₹9,300 crore for the scheme targeting 90 lakh women. Providing ₹1,000/month to general category women and ₹1,500/month to SC women, paid directly to their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.

3Who Is Eligible?

You qualify if you meet all of these:

  • Age: 18 years or older (no upper age cap)

SC women who meet the above criteria receive ₹1,500/month (higher category). Others receive ₹1,000/month.

4How to Register

At a Government Camp (Easiest):

  1. Watch for camp announcements in your block/ward (most camps run constituency-wise)
  2. Bring Aadhaar card + bank passbook
  3. SC women. Bring caste certificate for the ₹1,500 benefit
  4. Fill the form with the camp operator
  5. Collect your acknowledgement slip

Online:

  1. Visit punjab.gov.in → Women & Child Development section
  2. Find the Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana link
  3. Register using Aadhaar OTP
  4. Fill and submit the form online

5Phase 2. Why It Matters

Phase 1 was limited. Phase 2 (from May 5, 2026) covers all 117 constituencies of Punjab. Meaning women in every corner of the state can now register. If you missed Phase 1, Phase 2 is your window.
