Mains Preparation Focus
With Mains on September 7–12, here's what matters most:
GS Paper 4 (Ethics): Most candidates under-prepare this. Use UPSC Ethics past papers as practice — MPPSC Ethics pattern is similar. Focus on case studies, integrity in administration, and MP-specific governance examples.
Hindi Papers: Don't neglect these. Many candidates from English-medium backgrounds score poorly here. For Hindi Essay, practice 4-5 essays per week on current social and governance topics.
MP-specific current affairs: Both GS Papers 1 and 3 include MP-focused questions. Read MP government's annual report, state budget highlights, and schemes like Ladli Behna Yojana, Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana.
