Preparation Strategy

The exam has 150 questions — 100 on your subject and 50 on teaching aptitude/research/GK. The subject section requires postgraduate-level depth, not just textbook basics.

For Group A subjects like Geography and History, previous years' MPPSC question papers are the best preparation guide — the pattern is highly repetitive. For Commerce and Economics (Group B), focus on both microeconomics fundamentals and applied economics (Indian economy, MP economy). For Physics and Chemistry (Group C), the questions go up to MSc level — use your university course material and CSIR-NET previous papers.

The Teaching Aptitude section covers teaching methods, educational psychology, learning theories, and classroom management basics — most of these can be covered in 2–3 weeks of focused preparation.

Since there's no negative marking, attempt all 150 questions. Never leave a question blank.
