Official Portal & Helpline
1What Is Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi?
Maharashtra farmers already get ₹6,000/year from PM KISAN — but the state government decided that wasn't enough. The Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana adds another ₹6,000/year on top, making the total income support ₹12,000 per year for registered farmers in Maharashtra.
This state-level scheme was launched by the Maharashtra government and mirrors the PM KISAN structure — three instalments of ₹2,000 each, directly to your Aadhaar-linked bank account.
2How Much Will You Get and When?
| Scheme | Annual Amount | Per Instalment | Total Instalments |
|---|---|---|---|
| PM KISAN (Central) | ₹6,000 | ₹2,000 | 3 |
| Namo Shetkari (State) | ₹6,000 | ₹2,000 | 3 |
| Combined Total | ₹12,000 | ₹2,000 (alternating) | 6 |
Effectively, you get ₹2,000 every two months throughout the year.
3Do You Need to Apply Separately?
Most farmers do not need a separate application. If you are:
- Already registered in PM KISAN, AND
- Your land records (7/12 Utara/Satbara) are updated in Maharashtra's Mahabhoomi system
...then the state automatically enrolls you in Namo Shetkari.
However, check your status at nsmny.mahaagri.gov.in. If instalments are not coming, you need to visit your Talathi (revenue officer) to resolve the mismatch.
4Common Reasons for Missing Instalments
- Aadhaar not seeded to bank account — link at your bank branch
- 7/12 land records not updated — visit Talathi office
- Aadhaar name mismatch between bank records and land records
- Joint land ownership — only the primary holder registered in Satbara receives the benefit
- Tenant farmers — must have their name entered under the tenancy column in 7/12
5How to Check Your Status
- Go to nsmny.mahaagri.gov.in
- Click "Beneficiary Status"
- Enter your Aadhaar number or registered mobile number
- View instalment status and payment history
