If joining the Indian Army has been your dream, Agniveer CCE 2026 is your direct path. The Army has released 25,000+ vacancies across five categories under the Agnipath Scheme. The Common Entrance Exam (CBT) is scheduled from June 1–15, 2026, and applications closed on April 1, 2026.
What Is the Agnipath Scheme?
Agnipath is the Indian government's short-service military recruitment model. Under this scheme, you serve in the Indian Army for 4 years as an Agniveer. After 4 years:
- 25% of Agniveers are permanently retained in the Army as regular soldiers
- The remaining 75% are released with a Seva Nidhi package of ₹10.04 lakh (completely tax-free)
- All released Agniveers get a skill certificate, priority in central government jobs, and various state government benefits
This is not a permanent job — but it is real, uniformed Army service with full military training, salary, and benefits.

Exam Pattern (CBT)
The Common Entrance Exam is a computer-based objective test. The syllabus varies slightly by category:
GD Paper (100 marks)
- General Knowledge: 30 marks
- General Science: 30 marks
- Maths: 20 marks
- Logical Reasoning: 20 marks
Technical Paper (100 marks)
- General Knowledge: 10 marks
- General Science: 40 marks
- Maths: 30 marks
- Physics: 20 marks
Clerk/SKT Paper (100 marks)
- General Knowledge: 20 marks
- General Science: 20 marks
- Maths: 30 marks
- Computer Science: 20 marks
- English: 10 marks
Duration: 60 minutes. Negative marking: ¼ mark per wrong answer.

After 4 Years — What Happens?

- Released Agniveers get priority in CAPFs (CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB) and many state police recruitments
- Many state governments offer reservation and marks weightage for Agniveer alumni
