The SSC released the CGL 2025-26 Tier 2 score card on 17 June 2026 at ssc.gov.in. If you appeared in the Tier 2 exam held on 18 and 19 January 2026, you can now see your section-wise marks. The score card stays active until 16 July 2026 at 9 PM. After that, SSC removes it and doesn't provide individual marks on request.
What the score card release means
The SSC CGL Tier 2 score card shows your section-wise marks for the January 2026 exam, and it's open for both selected and non-selected candidates. This is separate from the final result, which SSC declared on 14 May 2026 listing the 15,118 candidates provisionally selected for appointment.
If you cleared the final list, the score card is for your records. If you didn't, it's the most direct data point for understanding exactly where you fell short and how wide the gap is.

What selected candidates should do next
If your roll number is in the 14 May 2026 final merit list, document verification (DV) is the next step. SSC calls selected candidates region-wise for DV. You'll need originals and attested photocopies of your educational certificates, category certificate if applicable, ID proof, and date of birth certificate.
Post preference and the sliding mechanism come after DV. SSC allocates posts based on your rank, your stated preferences, and reservation rules. Watch your regional SSC website for DV schedule announcements.
Some posts, particularly in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs and the offices of the Comptroller and Auditor General, require a medical examination before appointment.
What non-selected candidates should do
If you appeared in January 2026 but aren't in the final list, compare your score card marks to the official cut-off PDF on ssc.gov.in. That shows you the exact gap by post and category.
SSC CGL follows an annual cycle. The 2026-27 notification is expected later in 2026, and with Tier 1 exams typically held in the first half of the following year, you'd have 8 to 10 months from now to prepare and close that gap.
